		<description>Ivy League is good for connections. And this is a crucial factor indeed. However, several top QF programs are not even located in the US! ETH, Ulm, UTS to name a few. Anyways, schools DO NOT provide education, rather, means of education. When you go for the interview, it matters what you can do and what you are capable of rather than what school you have attended.

The bottom line is, one can save a huge load of money by choosing a non-ivy school. Even if your starting salary is a little bit lower because you did not attend one, you still remain in plus, since you have not borrowed that much during the school time.
